Sommelier Wine Awards (SWA) is Britain’s only on-trade wine competition it is the first point of reference for the UK's on-trade wine buyers as well as the key competition for wines trying to increase their presence in hotels, pubs, bars and restaurants across the world. SWA produces their 'Gold List' once a year so SWA needed a method to keep their readers engaged with the brand and fill the gap between publications. Therefore SWA needed a modern, simple, clean mobile responsive HTML marketing email which would also reflect the brand.

Analysis of SWA's subscribed demographic demonstrated a need for a mobile responsive email template.
Various content requirements and content highlighting were required so a modular template was created. Giving the opportunity to increase or reduce the content blocks as needed.
